Silver Coin (~4.60g)

Ancient coinage has been worn as ornament since antiquity — Hellenistic and Roman goldsmiths mounted struck silver in pendants and bracelets, and Byzantium carried the practice forward as both adornment and talisman.

The Damaskos workshop follows that tradition, mounting silver coin elements of roughly 4.60 grams within gold settings. Granulation and twisted wire frame the struck face, holding the piece securely while leaving the relief legible.
