Emeralds

Emerald has been the colour of authority in Greek and Byzantine goldwork for well over a millennium, and it remains one of the most demanding stones the Damaskos workshop sets. Each is chosen for depth of green and the particular way it reads against 18K or 22k gold.

Settings follow ecclesiastical precedent — granulated fields, wire borders, and bezels shaped to protect a stone that rewards careful handling. Emeralds appear both as solitary accents and paired with diamonds in the atelier's more involved compositions.
