Blue Topaz

Blue topaz is the coolest note in the Damaskos palette. Where most stones in the collection lean warm, topaz holds a clear, almost glacial blue — and it is precisely that contrast against 18K or 22k gold that earns it a place in the workshop's Byzantine and Archaic designs.

Each stone is selected for clarity and evenness of colour, then set by hand in Athens using techniques the atelier has kept unchanged: granulation, repoussé surfaces, and wire borders drawn from ecclesiastical goldwork.
